One thing I am always trying to do with my cooking is to save time. That is why I love my slow cooker! It is a work horse in my kitchen, from making dinner to cooking bone broth.

All I have to do is stick meat, vegetables, spices and a fat to flavor it all. That is really it! It ends up being a delicious dinner every time with the meat being very tender.

This recipe can be used as a template for you. It is just like I said – you can use any meat or vegetable. It can be elk, deer, bison, whatever kind of roast you have on hand.

Anything Italian is close to my heart because that is part of my heritage. Today I am sharing a recipe for Italian chicken.
